IE Matrix 

The IE Matrix is similar to the BCG Matrix as both are "portafoilio matrices", but this matrix has nine cells. IThe IE Matrix is based on two keydimensions: the IFE total weighted scores on the x-axis and the EFE total weighted scores on the y-axis.

 

The IE matrix works in a way that the organization plots the total weighted score from the EFE matrix on the y axis and draw a horizontal line across the plane. Then takes the score calculated in the IFE matrix, plot it on the x axis, and draw a vertical line across the plane. The point where the horizontal line meets the vertical line is the determinant for the organization's satrtegy.
